Meditate in Malta

With Lisa Alexander

May 15-22, 2024

Join us on a unique journey as we discover the mystical Mediterranean jewel that is Malta.

With its sweeping ocean views, breathtaking natural landscapes, and some of the oldest human-made structures on the planet, Malta lies at the crossroads of contrasting cultures and economies and is one of the world’s most extraordinary and spectacular destinations.

This compact archipelago is steeped in rich cultural history and has been referred to as ‘an open-air museum’, with over 320 historical monuments, including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: The Megalithic Temples, the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, and the City of Valletta.

The tremendous cultural and geo-politic importance of Malta throughout history cannot be understated. With some of the oldest free-standing megalithic temples dating back to 3600-2500 B.C., it has always been a place of unique historical and strategic importance, first as a trading post since the late 4th century B.C., and later during WWII. The Knights of Saint John settled there between 1530 and 1798, and it is home of arguably the greatest influence in the spread of Christianity – the Apostle Paul. Malta is also one of the few places in the world that is directly and verifiably discussed in the Bible.

The Maltese are known for their warmth, vivaciousness, and diverse multinational culture. Their cuisine is reflective of this diversity, fusing Sicilian, Spanish, French, North African, and English influences. It is also recognized as one of the most progressive European destinations, with its celebration of life, health and wellness, and modern Mediterranean ‘farm-to-table’ cuisine.

An Invitation from LISA…

I am a HeartMath practitioner and a certified meditation instructor. I was a high school history teacher before I was discovered and became a model, spokesperson, commercial actress, and my bachelor’s degree is in history, so I love history and I love history of architecture. But more than architecture, I like to focus on what we always call in history the zeitgeist, the spirit of the times. What was going on during the period that something was created or built. And I will discuss that on the trip. It’s getting into the minds and hearts and souls of the people of that time and deeply connecting with them since they are us.

When I go into ancient sites I can tap into the energy and look back to the Akashic records of the place and actually see history unfold before my eyes. I can see things that others can’t, and I hope to help enlighten you on this trip as to how to see the energy of these ancient sites.

Some of these sites have energy that’s just so powerful, so I look at these buildings and sites very differently than the average person and I hope to impart that wisdom to everyone.

This is a meditation journey, and we will start out each morning with meditation in one of the many beautiful gardens around our hotel as well as during many of our site visits.

I invite you to join me on this unique journey to the amazing and breathtaking islands of Malta, steeped in history and art.
